Simply put, embroidery is the decoration of fabric. Any decorative additions can be used from thread, yarn, pearls, beads, sequins, and quills. It’s an intricate art form that has been celebrated globally for thousands of years for its beauty and artistry. There are plenty of striking techniques and styles to choose from. While we specialise in traditional Asian methods, we’re well versed in all levels of contemporary needlework.
The intimate nature of embroidery means that every single project we work with is exclusive to each of our clients. We utilise a plethora of fabric manipulation techniques to ensure that each piece has a distinctive, couture feel. Our transparent process will ensure a stress-free service that allows you to indulge in the luxury of your one-of-a-kind piece.
Our Techniques

Tambour beading
Tambour means ‘drum’ in French. This technique uses a frame to tighten the fabric, like a drum, and a hook is used to thread beads or sequins underneath

Goldwork
An elaborate form of embroidery using glamorous metallic threads. To produce a glistening addition to any lavish outfit

Applique
This method incorporates patches of complementary fabrics for an eclectic pattern or design.

Beading
A recognisable adornment involving meticulously affixing beads in complex arrangements

Computer Assisted Design
Uses designs created on specialist software to inform embroidery machines to create intricate patterns

Freehand
Freehand embroidery is essentially drawing with a sewing machine. A creative technique with a hand-crafted vibe
